Classes / Training

Lunar NYC offers a range of volleyball training opportunities designed to help athletes strengthen fundamentals, develop advanced skills, and grow within a competitive and supportive environment.

Our programs focus on building well-rounded players through structured instruction, consistent repetition, and a strong emphasis on teamwork, game awareness, and long-term athlete development. Athletes train with experienced coaches committed to helping every player improve their technique, confidence, and understanding of the game through high-energy, detail-oriented sessions.

Training opportunities include our Foundation Series, which provides weekly skill development sessions centered on the core fundamentals of volleyball, as well as special clinics and collaborative events hosted with partner organizations such as Elevate On 3.

Lunar NYC also hosts Pro Athlete Clinic Series events featuring Olympic and professional athletes including Justine Wong-Orantes, McKenzie Adams, Dustin Watten, Facundo Conte, and Maxwell Holt. These elite training experiences give athletes the opportunity to train alongside internationally accomplished players through fast-paced, skills-focused sessions emphasizing serving, passing, hitting, blocking, digging, ball control, and position-specific instruction. Select sessions feature dedicated pro-led training courts focused on specialized areas such as libero/defense, hitting/blocking, and hitting/passing, allowing athletes to receive advanced instruction and direct feedback from some of the sport’s top competitors.

Whether athletes are looking to build strong fundamentals, prepare for competitive club play, gain additional reps outside of school teams, or experience the intensity and mindset of professional-level training, Lunar NYC’s programs provide structured opportunities to improve, compete, and grow both on and off the court.

A Week With The Pros

The Pro Athletes Clinic Series is a week-long elite volleyball training experience hosted by Coach Brown Volleyball Camps at NYU, featuring professional and Olympic-level athletes including Justine Wong-Orantes, McKenzie Adams, Dustin Watten, Facundo Conte, and Maxwell Holt.

Designed for both youth and adult athletes, the series combines professional-level instruction with high-energy, competitive training environments focused on developing all-around volleyball skills. Sessions emphasize serving, passing, hitting, blocking, digging, ball control, and game awareness through advanced drills, live repetitions, and position-specific instruction.

July 13–14 sessions with Justine Wong-Orantes and McKenzie Adams focus on complete skill development and competitive gameplay training, while July 15–16 sessions feature dedicated pro-led specialty courts in libero/defense, hitting/blocking, and hitting/passing with Dustin Watten, Facundo Conte, and Maxwell Holt.

Each clinic begins with dynamic warmups centered on activation and movement preparation before transitioning into fast-paced instructional work and live skill application. Athletes receive direct coaching, feedback, and mentorship from internationally accomplished players while training alongside others committed to improving at a high level.

The series is designed to help athletes build confidence, sharpen technique, and experience the intensity, discipline, and mindset of professional volleyball training.

Foundation Series

Lunar NYC’s Foundation Series is a weekly volleyball training program designed to help athletes build strong fundamentals while developing confidence and game awareness.

These sessions focus on the core skills every volleyball player needs – passing, serving, hitting, defensive positioning, and teamwork – in a supportive and energetic environment led by experienced coaches.

The program is ideal for athletes who want structured training, additional practice outside of school teams, or preparation for competitive club volleyball.

Players are grouped by age and skill level to ensure every athlete receives meaningful instruction and the opportunity to improve each week.

Elevate On 3 Athlete Recruiter

The EOn3 Recruiter event is designed to help athletes and families better understand the college recruiting process and what it takes to play at the next level.

Hosted in partnership with Elevate On 3, this session provides insight into what college coaches look for in prospective athletes and how players can position themselves to stand out during the recruiting journey.

Participants will receive guidance on building a recruiting roadmap, understanding scholarship opportunities, and navigating the steps required to connect with college programs. Athletes will also have the opportunity to be evaluated by Elevate coaches and receive feedback on areas of development that can strengthen their recruiting profile.

This event is ideal for athletes who are beginning the recruiting process or looking for clarity on how to move forward with their college volleyball goals.
